Asbestos removal is a heavily regulated process, so the right planning matters. For certain asbestos removal works, including Class B work over 10 square metres or friable material removal, WorkSafe requires a mandatory five day notification period before work can begin. For domestic work, Clear Air can help facilitate this process, while commercial projects may require the PCBU to manage assessor responsibilities directly.
